One of my favorite seasons is Spring, it uncovers the first signs of life as trees begin to unearth and flowers start blossoming... and there's just some kind of magic to it all. Summer then is undoubtedly the time to enjoy the fruits of labor from its previous season and I can't think of a better way to start off enjoying the Summer than with a little redecorating project!! I love starting every year with plans for a renovation project at home. No matter how big or small the project is, I feel like switching things up at home always helps me feel my best and it's so important to love your environment/ home space. It really doesn't take much to make your home look new again. Adding items like an area rug or a few accent pieces can transform a room instantly. For me, the key is only buying accents I find interesting. Example, if you're going to add throw pillows why not get one with a bold color and bead-work or a quote written on it rather than a blah solid brown pillow? Don't just get a basic brass candlestick when you can buy one for less at a thrift store that has more detailing and craftsmanship. These little subtle extras make all the difference!
